Elton Hawley, one of our prominent leaders in sports medicine in NC, was diagnosed on 10/20/2011 with a tumor on his right kidney. He recently had his right kidney removed due to the malignant tumor. The report on the surrounding tissue and lymph nodes came back negative and had not spread. He is not required any additional medication to take at this time.
After 3 weeks in the hospital, and no medical insurance, he has amassed some huge medical bills. Several have asked how they can assist Elton and Brenda in this time of need. A special account/fund has been set up at the Wells Fargo Bank.
