Wake County held its 8th Annual Athletic Training Olympics on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Millbrook High School. There were about 43 students representing five area high schools and five ATs on hand for this year’s competition. Representatives from UNC-CH attended to discuss Athletic Training education and responsibilities at the college level. The students practiced Kinesio Taping and casting, which was taught by Carolina Family Practice and Sports Medicine. All the students who participated had a great time meeting others who have similar interests. We would like to congratulate Panther Creek High School for winning the 2011 Athletic Training Olympics.
