The mission of the Governmental Affairs Committee is to advance the athletic training profession in business and employment opportunities, compensation, and brand recognition of athletic trainers as health care professionals. This council is comprised of members from all settings, including clinical and emerging practices, with experience in billing, revenue generation, reimbursement, job creation and practice advancement.
